Why do I need a Help to Buy valuation?

The valuation is sent to Target HCA who own a percentage of your property. The report will ensure your repayment is correct and in line with the current value of your Help to Buy property.
How do you make a valuation?
The process requires a knowledgeable Chartered Surveyor to visit your home and undertake an inspection of your property before putting together a Help to Buy Valuation report.
Once you receive your Help to Buy report, you will need to send it to Target HCA within 3 months. When they have received the report they will provide you with a calculation on the current value of your loan and the required repayment figure.
