Why do I need a Help to Buy valuation?
When you purchase a home under the Government's Help to Buy scheme, you are effectively entering into a contract with Target HCA who owns a percentage of your home.
Property prices will vary over time, this is why Target HCA needs an independent valuation to ensure your repayment to them is fair and reflective of the current market value. Our team will look both externally and internally of your home, taking into account the location and properties sold in the area (within the last 12 months) to provide an accurate report for Target HCA.
How do you make a valuation?
When you contact Morgan Sloane to carry out a valuation, a Chartered Surveyor with a combined knowledge of the property market and the local area will visit your home to undertake an inspection to compose a Help to Buy report, which will then be sent across to Target HCA.
When your report has been received it will be valid for 3 months, so you will need to send it across to Target HCA as soon as it arrives to avoid further restraints.
