Why do I need a Help to Buy valuation?

A Help to Buy Valuation provides an independent assessment to determine the amount repayable to Target HCA at the current market value of your property.

When buying a home via a Help to Buy scheme you would have taken out a loan on a percentage of the equity in your home. In order to sell, remortgage or buy more equity you will require an up to date valuation of your home, this will ensure you are paying a fair repayment sum for your loan. 

How do you make a valuation? 

Morgan Sloane’s Chartered Surveyors will inspect your home and compile a report based on their local knowledge of the housing market in Surrey, which complies with the criteria specified by Target HCA. 

Your Help to Buy Valuation is valid for 3 months only, it is therefore very important that you send it to Target HCA as soon as it arrives. They will calculate the value of your loan and provide you with the repayment figure.
